Lille, fete pour le 70 ieme Dominou

Bon anniversaire Dominou!

Sure was sweet to cuddle my eldest daughter again after nearly 3 months. Unfortunately she caught a nasty gastro on her last day of school and missed all her classmates' farewell. She generously shared her bug with all of us, and several of her grandfather's birthday guests.

Balti spewed in the ferris wheel queue, but we otherwise had a lovely day in old Lille. 

Tackers

Yesterday was a cracking summer's day down at Balnarring. Although the wind was fairly lifeless in the morning, we were treated to a dolphin spectacular - they seem almost attracted to the sounds of children sailing, with some even happy to swim with the kids. 

Balti got out in an Opti by himself, and Luce is sailing well. The wind picked up in the afternoon, and we had some ripping Hobie action.

Farewell friends!

Sad to see our neighbours and good friends leaving for NYC, but we wish them all the best and hope they'll return to the hood in the not too distant future!

Weekends Away in Melbourne

Summer is just around the corner, and we've had plenty on.

ACDC and the Polo at Albert Park were highlights, as was mum's birthday on Saturday with the Barnseys. Counting down the days to catching up with our darling oldest girl in France.
